About Karen

Dogs have always been a part of my life, currently I own a Chihuahua and a Terrier. Prior to setting up Canine Country Walkers, I spent many years working in the social care sector and as a care home manager. I decided that I wanted to do something different and spend more time with my own dogs…. this coupled with my passion for our canine companions, means I have now found a perfect and rewarding job!

In August 2016 I obtained a Diploma in Canine Psychology and Behaviour (UK Dog Whisperer) to better understand our canine companions,  thus changing the way to approach / handle my own dogs and those I look after. I have always been fascinated the way in which dogs behave and interact with both humans and each other.  Previously, I have also worked with a Doggy Daycare company,  which has enabled me to gain more experience in walking dogs and managing group walks.

About Annie

I have always loved dogs and they have been a part of my life since the age of fourteen, when I rescued my first dog! Following that I have owned mainly large breeds such as German Shephard’s and a Rottweiler. I currently own a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Finnish Lapphund.

Prior to setting up Canine Country Walkers, I ran my own executive taxi business. I then went to work with a Doggy Daycare company, which has given me the experience in dog walking and managing group walks too. Since having a keen interest in dog psychology and their behaviour, I have also recently completed my training  (Glen Stanford ~  The UK dog whisperer) obtaining a Diploma in Canine Psychology and Behaviour.

This has benefited us greatly.  We continue to practice what we have learned, helping dogs and their owners who are experiencing issues with their pets.
